1. Welcome

Welcome to HockiLogic.

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.

If you are under 16, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent before your account can be activated.

2. Purpose of the App

The app is designed to support hockey participants through digital tools and services that may include:

• Education and learning
• Coaching and development
• Officiating support
• Assessments and feedback
• Appointments and availability
• Competition management
• Communication
• Reporting and analytics
• Performance tracking

The features available to you may vary depending on your role and the organisations you are connected to.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and agree to:

• provide accurate and up-to-date information;
• keep your password secure and confidential;
• use only your own account;
• notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission;
• keep your contact details up to date.

You are responsible for all activity carried out using your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app and its AI features responsibly and only for their intended purpose of supporting hockey participation, education, coaching, officiating, administration and development.

You must not:

• provide false or misleading information;
• impersonate another person;
• upload unlawful, offensive, abusive or discriminatory content;
• harass, intimidate or bully other users;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or information;
• interfere with the operation, security or availability of the app;
• knowingly submit false match information, assessment information or coaching information to influence appointments, grading, development or reporting;
• attempt to manipulate, test, bypass or misuse the AI features in ways that are not consistent with their intended purpose;
• use the AI to generate inappropriate, harmful, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful content;
• use the app or its AI features to gain an unfair advantage or misrepresent your abilities or achievements;
• use the app for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Where we reasonably believe that the app or its AI features have been deliberately misused, we may investigate the activity, suspend or terminate access to the app and, where appropriate, notify the relevant hockey club, association, league or governing body.

5. AI-Assisted Features

Some features of the app use artificial intelligence (AI) to provide suggestions, summaries, educational content, feedback and decision support.

AI-generated content is intended to support learning and development and should not replace the judgement of qualified coaches, assessors, officials, administrators or governing bodies.

You remain responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on AI-generated content.

We may review AI interactions where necessary to improve the quality, safety, security and reliability of the service and to investigate suspected misuse.

6. User Content

Where you submit information, comments, assessments, reports, feedback or other content through the app:

• you remain responsible for the information you provide;
• you confirm that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
• you grant us permission to use that information for operating, maintaining and improving the app;
• you must not submit content that infringes another person's rights or breaches the law.

7. Hockey Organisations

If your account is linked to a hockey club, league, county association, national governing body or other authorised hockey organisation, certain information may be shared with authorised personnel for legitimate hockey purposes, including:

• administration;
• appointments;
• competition management;
• coaching and development;
• assessor feedback;
• reporting;
• participation analysis;
• safeguarding and welfare;
• compliance with governing body requirements.

Where additional information is requested specifically for reporting, coaching or development purposes, the app will explain who will receive the information, why it is required and how it will be used before you choose to provide it.

8. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep the app available, secure and operating effectively.

However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability and may:

• carry out maintenance;
• introduce, modify or remove features;
• suspend access where necessary for operational, security or legal reasons.

We are not liable for temporary interruptions that are outside our reasonable control.

9. Updates

We may release updates, improvements and new features from time to time.

Some updates may be required for the app to continue functioning correctly. We recommend installing updates when they become available.

10. Intellectual Property

The app, including its software, design, branding, graphics, text, AI models and other content, is owned by or licensed to Kibosh Sports Tech Ltd.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, reverse engineer or exploit any part of the app except where permitted by law.

11. Suspension or Termination

You may stop using the app at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• you breach these Terms;
• false or misleading information has been provided;
• your use presents a safeguarding, security or legal risk;
• there is suspected misuse of the app or its AI features;
• we are required to do so by law or by a relevant governing authority.

Where appropriate, we will explain the reason for the action taken.

12. Limitation of Liability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information and services provided through the app are accurate and reliable.

The app is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is collected, used and protected in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using the app, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Where changes are significant, we will notify users through the app or by email before the updated Terms take effect where reasonably practicable.

Your continued use of the app after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
